Meritrust

Credit Union

Wichita, KS

Inspired by Wichita and Meritrust Credit Union’s long history with aviation, this design warranted ensuring their heritage was represented. Meritrust and the Kansas Aviation Museum teamed up to create a replica Stearman Wood Wing, the first of its kind. Archived photos were weaved into a 620 square foot mural adorning the top portion of the interior lobby while red free form materials represent the concept of flight.

Realizing the building was too large for a branch only, Alloy assisted Meritrust with integrating a facility between credit union branch operations and a business service center. Teller Dialogue Stations replaced the former teller line and a concierge desk was added. New LED lighting was incorporated as well as a replacement of the HVAC system to VRF and the addition of a new generator.
