IPB-4 SE Hangar Expansion

The Spirit Aerosystems IPB-4 SE Expansion added 58,000 square feet to the existing facility which brought the total to 394,000 square feet. Designed to support the expansion of a key production line, the expansion provides high-bay space for large product racking systems and accommodates new autoclaves and overhead cranes. A complex structural system was engineered to support 40-ton bridge cranes essential to operations. This expansion enables Spirit to increase production of 737 aircraft components which supports global aircraft delivery and strengthens the region’s aerospace manufacturing industry.
