Office Expansion & Renovation
Wichita, KS
As demand for advanced avionics and aerospace technology continues to grow, Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics expanded their Wichita campus to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities, engineering resources, and research and development operations. Alloy Architecture partnered with the company to design a comprehensive expansion and renovation that supports future growth while reinforcing its long-standing presence in the Air Capital of the World.
The project included a 28,000-square-foot addition and renovation of the existing campus. New manufacturing, engineering, testing, and collaborative workspaces were thoughtfully integrated with existing facilities, allowing the company to increase capacity while maintaining efficient operations. Throughout the project, timeless finishes and carefully coordinated design elements created a cohesive environment that seamlessly connects new and existing spaces.
The completed expansion provides Mid-Continent with the flexibility and infrastructure needed to respond to increasing national and global demand for its products. As a key supplier within Wichita’s aviation industry, the enhanced campus supports continued innovation, strengthens the regional aerospace supply chain, and creates opportunities for future economic growth.
