Ideatek

A 100-year-old flour mill in the heart of downtown Buhler, KS is now the home of Ideatek. This fiber-optic communications network company sought out Alloy to renovate the historic building into their new corporate headquarters. We strived to maintain the original character of the building while also introducing modern materials into the space. The 5,000 square foot space was transformed into an adaptable office for the tech startup. Vibrant and fresh colors matching their visual branding were incorporated. New and lighter materials were integrated alongside the existing rugged masonry and heavy wood timber construction. The completed project is an exciting dichotomy of old vs. new that lends the space a unique environment befitting of an innovative company.
