Jeff Minar

AIA

Principal

Before Jeff was 10 years old, he had a passion for designing and creating environments. By hand-drawing, use of Legos, and even a computer program he would create buildings and entire cities. “My dad worked as a sales rep for a window company and had a computer program where you could create different styles of houses and place windows within it. I would spend hours using that program to design dream houses.” As Jeff grew up and started thinking about a career path, it was clear that architecture was the preferred choice.

Jeff attended Kansas State University and graduated in 2004. He joined Alloy Architecture in June of that year and became a Principal in 2018. He has worked on a variety of different project types but has mostly been involved in the higher education, industrial, and aviation markets.

“I really enjoy the problem-solving aspect of each project and helping a client visualize the solution. I also value the relationships that are created through these interactions and hope to create a lasting friendship.”

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Lindsey and two boys, Liam and Greyson. They enjoy sports, traveling, camping, fishing, and just hanging out in the backyard.
