Architectural Professional

Lee Thompson is an architectural professional with 14 years of experience in architectural drafting. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Wichita State University and an associate’s degree in Architectural Drafting from Wichita Area Technical College. Lee enjoys the modeling and drafting side of the profession the most and values the relationships he has built throughout the industry over the years. He is driven by the sense of accomplishment that comes from seeing a project successfully completed and appreciates opportunities to bring creative solutions to the design process.

Outside of work, Lee enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog, Maximus—especially outdoors during the warmer months. Before entering architecture, he spent 20 years playing drums in bands ranging from heavy metal to praise music. He also participated in Civil War reenactments across the country in his youth and has long held a strong appreciation for animals and traditional art forms.
