Bob Faires

AIA

Managing Principal

“My interest in architecture was sparked early in high school when my parish was building a new Church. I was in awe of the exterior design aesthetics and the interior spaces created.” This appreciation for design carried him through Kansas State University and onto a career at Alloy.

Bob joined Alloy Architecture in 1989 and is now a Managing Senior Principal within the firm. He has extensive experience on a variety of religious and educational projects. He enjoys working directly with clients and collaborating with the consultants and other colleagues on the architectural team.

The most satisfying aspect of the projects he has worked on, is the lasting relationships that were formed during the process of taking a project from conception to reality.

Bob enjoys traveling with family and friends to the Rocky Mountains both in summer and winter. During his spare time, he can often be found tinkering with a variety of self-imposed woodworking projects, digging into genealogy, or dabbling in photography.
