Buhler Athletic Complex

This vast and sprawling complex was a fascinating project that brought a wide variety of sports and recreational activities to the Buhler community as well as to the near by middle and high schools. A city street was moved to make room for the main hub of the project – the Wheatland Park which includes a pool, wellness center, and multiple baseball and softball fields! A new, 1200 yard city street was built for access to the park. Eight tennis courts were added as well as a new football stadium and track at the high school. The track is the first post-tensioned concrete track to be built in Kansas! This extensive recreational hub is a beautiful green space, encouraging outdoor play, competition, community and will be available to the town for decades to come!
