Haysville High School is an alternative high school for students that have struggled in a traditional high school setting. Tri-City Day School is a 72,000 square foot K-12 school that meets the diverse, unique emotional and mental health needs for students within the Haysville, Derby and Mulvane public school districts. These two schools were combined into one building in order to create efficiencies with shared common spaces, while maintaining separate classroom and administrative space. Spaces shared by both schools include a media center, gymnasium and cafeteria. Each school has their own main entry, drop-off area and parking area. The main entries have secure access. while each school also has the capability to be secured separately. In addition to the building, the site consists of parking, two entry drives, a playground, an outdoor courtyard with seating and a landscaped site with berms and vegetation.
